Warehouse Lead / Supervisor

We are looking for a strong leader who can train, develop, and hold team members accountable while ensuring inventory is accurate, organized, properly rotated, and available when needed. This individual will oversee the day-to-day activities of a small warehouse team of approximately 4–5 employees while remaining actively involved in inventory, receiving, returns, and warehouse operations.

Pay Rate: $28–$30/hour W2

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead / Supervisor to join an established organization supporting the automotive OEM industry. This individual will oversee the day-to-day activities of a small warehouse team of approximately 4–5 employees while remaining actively involved in inventory, receiving, returns, and warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of warehouse processes. We are looking for a strong leader who can train, develop, and hold team members accountable while ensuring inventory is accurate, organized, properly rotated, and available when needed.

Experience within an automotive OEM, automotive parts, manufacturing, or similar inventory-driven environment is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a warehouse team of approximately 4–5 employees
• Coordinate daily workload, priorities, and warehouse activities
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse employees
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper inventory organization
• Manage inventory rotation and help ensure older inventory is appropriately utilized
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, staging, returns, and related warehouse activities
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving missing inventory, returned items, damaged goods, and incorrect shipments
• Ensure incoming materials and products are accurately received and documented
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment
• Identify process issues and recommend improvements to warehouse procedures
• Work closely with operations, purchasing, customer service, and other departments to resolve inventory-related issues
• Utilize warehouse and ERP systems to track inventory and transactions
• Help establish a culture of accountability, organization, accuracy, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead, Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Lead, or similar role
• Experience directly leading and developing a small warehouse team
• Strong inventory management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience resolving inventory discrepancies, missing items, returns, and damaged goods
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable being a hands-on leader who works alongside the team when needed
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Automotive OEM or automotive parts experience is a major plus
• Manufacturing, distribution, or other high-volume inventory experience will also be considered
