OFS is seeking a Warehouse lead/Inventory Control Specialist for Plant 1 . Attention to detail and sense of urgency are paramount. Qualified candidate must also possess a strong work ethic and confident ability to communicate, train and help fellow employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES, Include but not limited to:
- Processing jobs and reorders with supply plants and outside vendors.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Oversee the receiving and placement of materials.
- Assist supervisor and warehouse personnel and daily duties.
- Assist in enforcement of policies and procedures in adherence within our safety guidelines.
- Assist in meeting production goals.
- Improve production efficiencies and overall quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills. ( Written and verbal )
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Understanding the importance of maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Ability to work with other plant departments to accomplish a common goal.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS A PLUS
- Previous warehouse and inventory experience
- Experience with Oracle operating systems is a plus
