Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:Lead warehouse team activities and perform general warehouse duties to meet needs of internal and external customers.

Position Responsibilities:

Quality Control Audits of pick tickets and warehouse inventoryVendor Management Inventory updates as neededYard Audits and Quality Control of warehouse and yard inventoryLoad & unload materials to and from designated areas such as racks, shelves, and/or vehiclesPull and Pick orders for any type of pick ticketStock all parts received by receiving agentsAssist in shipping and receiving administration as neededDriving and/or staging trucksParticipate in cycle countsParticipate in 5S and LEAN initiativesAssist to maintain a clean & orderly work areaOperate in conjunction with the organizational goals of the warehouseFollow all safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating proceduresOther duties as assigned by management (may be assigned at any time)

Financial Responsibility

No cost center responsibility; no profit & loss responsibility

Position Qualifications & Requirements:Education:

High School diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

Prior experience as a Warehouse/Receiving AssociateManufacturing industry or background experience preferred

Certification /License:

None

Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of warehouse procedures and practicesBasic math and computer skillsThe ability to collaborate with a multi-department team

Supervisory responsibilities: NoneWork environment:

Routinely pick up and move heavy objectsFrequent work in warehouse, internal and external in all-weather elementsMust be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE)

Travel: None OR Minimal (10%-15%)
