SUMMARY The warehouse material handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy. This position operates material handling equipment, prepares customer orders, loads and unloads deliveries, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. This is a full-time, temp-to-permanent opportunity. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred. • Forklift experience required. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy • Follow written and verbal instructions • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. •Willingness to learn company procedures. KNOWLEDGE • Warehouse operations and inventory control. • Shipping and receiving procedures. • Safe material handling practices. • Forklift and pallet jack operation. REQUIRED SKILLS •Manage time effectively to ensure all work is completed timely and effectively. • Pull and package customer orders accurately. • Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory. • Maintain inventory accuracy. • Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks. • Load and unload trucks and maintain a clean work area. • Basic Math Skills ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Pick and package customer orders accurately. • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments. • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage and organization. •Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. •Load and unload delivery trucks. •Assist with cycle counts and inventory organization. •Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. WORK SCHEDULE • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM • 30-minute unpaid lunch • Overtime may be required based on business needs SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES • Follow all warehouse safety procedures. • Operate forklifts safely. • Report unsafe conditions immediately. • Wear required PPE when applicable.
