Warehouse Laborer

Overhead Door Company is hiring a Warehouse Assistant for a full-time position in Denville, NJ.

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant who will be responsible for helping with all incoming/outgoing deliveries and keeping the warehouse neat, organized and safe. This is not a "sit in and operate a forklift all day" type of job. There will be manual labor involved, more than operating a forklift.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in Loading and Unloading trucks.
• Handle incoming, outgoing, and internal deliveries.
• Ability to update spreadsheets (Google Sheets or MS Excel) with up to date information (a plus)
• Deliver parts, tools or materials to technicians as needed.
• Pickup orders from various vendors and distribution centers.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping/receiving (status of shipments, arrival dates, etc.).
• Assist and work in a team to ensure that delivery objectives are met on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Package outgoing parcels, products and equipment when required.
• Pack and unpack pallets, including wrapping and unwrapping them.
• Grounds Keeping (Keeping lots clean).
• Landscaping (if needed).
• Must be able to take direction and run with it.
• Finding something to keep busy when not directed.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving a 16ft+ truck and towing trailers (Preferred but not required).
• A Forklift certification/license (preferred but not required).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment and be able to multitask.
• Be able to lift 75 lbs or more.
• Must be detail-oriented and have a sense of responsibility.
• Ability to commute to the warehouse daily.

Hours:

Monday through Friday: 7:00am-3:00pm with some Saturday work

Possibility of OT with Saturday work

Our operating hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm Mo-Sa. There will be opportunity for OT.

Pay Rate:

Hourly Rate: $18 - $25/Hr
