Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Laborer for an immediate opportunity in Claremore. This position involves general warehouse labor, material handling, inventory support, shipping and receiving assistance, and maintaining an organized work environment.

This is a physically demanding position requiring repetitive lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 70 lbs. throughout the workday.

Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred but not required. Candidates who demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, and a willingness to work may have the opportunity for permanent employment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ability to repetitively lift and carry up to 70 lbs. throughout the shift
• Comfortable performing physically demanding warehouse work
• Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials
• Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to maintain organized work areas
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to perform a variety of warehouse and general labor responsibilities  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials
• Move products and materials throughout the warehouse
• Repetitively lift and carry materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Stage materials in designated locations
• Organize warehouse inventory
• Assist with maintaining accurate inventory locations
• Support receiving activities
• Assist with shipping activities
• Move incoming and outgoing products
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas
• Remove debris and potential workplace hazards
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist coworkers with material-handling responsibilities
• Perform additional warehouse and general labor duties as assigned  

Material Handling

Candidates may regularly perform:

• Loading and unloading
• Material movement
• Product staging
• Inventory organization
• Heavy lifting
• Shipping and receiving support
• General warehouse labor  

Candidates must be comfortable remaining physically active throughout the entire shift.

Shipping & Receiving Support

Depending on daily workload, Warehouse Laborers may:

• Assist with incoming shipments
• Unload materials
• Stage received products
• Organize inventory
• Prepare materials for outgoing shipments
• Assist with loading
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas  

Inventory Support

• Organize materials in designated warehouse locations
• Help maintain orderly inventory areas
• Move products to appropriate storage locations
• Assist with inventory organization
• Identify misplaced materials
• Support additional inventory activities as assigned  

Physical Requirements

This position requires significant physical activity.

Candidates must be able to:

• Repetitively lift and carry up to 70 lbs. throughout the workday
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, squat, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull
• Move materials throughout warehouse areas
• Perform repetitive physical tasks
• Maintain productivity throughout the shift
• Safely work around warehouse materials and equipment
• Wear all required PPE
