Warehouse Inventory Clerk / Forklift Operator
The Opportunity
Trade Management is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Clerk / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations through inventory management, material handling, and order fulfillment activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are received, stored, and distributed accurately while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform cycle counts as assigned.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare materials for delivery or shipment.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clean storage areas.
- Enter inventory transactions into warehouse management systems.
- Label, tag, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum 1-3 years of warehouse or inventory experience.
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to read shipping documents, packing slips, and receiving paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Current Forklift Certification.
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse software.
- Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or distribution environments.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

- Work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
- Requires regular use of hands, arms, and manual dexterity for handling materials and equipment.
