Warehouse II Forklift Operator

SUMMARY:
In this seasonal role, you will perform a mix of warehouse and customer service duties, including operating a forklift, unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and assisting at the counter. This position offers a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills in both warehouse operations and customer interaction. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at a Ft. Worth location. This opportunity can provide a path to demonstrate your skills on the job and be considered for long-term employment.
 

• Time will be split from counter and warehouse. Should have strong customer service skills.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
PAY RATE: $19 per hour
LOCATION: Ft. Worth, TX 76140
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Unload trucks and organize warehouse inventory to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist customers and handle counter duties, providing strong customer service support.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect condition of materials and products.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items using written and computerized documentation.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1 year of related warehouse or forklift operation experience.
• High school diploma or GED - Required.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Flexibility to split time between warehouse and counter duties.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record may be required.
