About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment specializing in lighting fixtures and components. This role involves receiving materials, organizing inventory, picking and staging orders, and ensuring the safe and accurate handling of products to support production and customer shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of raw materials, lighting components, and finished products. Verify incoming materials against packing slips and report shortages or damaged items.
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for the production department according to work orders.
• Pack and prepare finished light fixtures for domestic and international shipment.
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (if certified).
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Label, wrap, and palletize products for safe transportation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following all safety procedures.
• Work closely with production, quality, and shipping departments to meet daily production schedules and customer deadlines.
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift frequently throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of or experience operating warehouse handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (forklift certification preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using RF scanners or inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience handling fragile or finished products.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to quality.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting are required. Capable of working safely with warehouse equipment and within a manufacturing environment.
