Housekeeping Associate – Manufacturing Facility

Job Summary
We are hiring a Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout a manufacturing facility in Midlothian, Texas. This position is responsible for cleaning work areas, maintaining sanitary conditions, handling waste, and ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and orderly.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical cleaning duties in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Work Schedule
This position follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule:
- Work 2 days, followed by 2 days off.
- Work 3 days, followed by scheduled days off.
- Repeat the rotation.
- Work every other weekend as scheduled.
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Hourly Pay: $17.00
Overtime: May be required based on facility needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain floors, walkways, workstations, and common areas throughout the facility.
- Sweep, mop, and remove debris from designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, equipment exteriors, and other assigned areas.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste according to established procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized break rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces as assigned.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and approved cleaning products safely.
- Follow facility cleaning schedules and established sanitation procedures.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, spills, or potential safety hazards.
- Follow workplace safety requirements and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, sanitation, or industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and approved cleaning products.
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $17.00.
- Shift: Day shift, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM.
