The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading logistics
and warehousing organization in South San Francisco, CA to hire a dependable
and dedicated Warehouse Handler who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in
organization and accuracy, and wants to be part of a fast-paced, team-driven
environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring inventory is
received, stored, and shipped accurately, helping keep operations running
smoothly and efficiently
What You’ll Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify
incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
- Safely load, unload, and move
materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Handle materials safely and
efficiently while following safety procedures
- Organize and store inventory to
maximize space and accessibility
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for
shipment in accordance with shipping standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records
and assist with cycle counts
- Keep the warehouse clean,
organized, and safe
- Conduct inventory counts and report
any inventory discrepancies or issues to management
- Collaborate with team members to
meet daily operational goals and resolve issues promptly
- Support timely deliveries, customer
satisfaction, and overall business success
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs
safely
- Experience operating warehouse
equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.(certification preferred but
not mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and
ability to follow instructions
- Basic understanding of warehouse
safety practices
Preferred:
- Forklift operator certification
- Previous warehouse or logistics
experience
- Familiarity with inventory management
software & barcode scanning systems
- Basic computer skills for data
entry and inventory tracking
- Strong communication skills with
the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate
clearly with supervisors
