We are looking for a dependable, hardworking
Warehouse / General Labor / Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse duties, general labor, equipment handling, deliveries, and field service work.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in doing quality work, can work independently, and is willing to learn. Experience is preferred but
training will be provided for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, load, and unload materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Pull and prepare materials for jobs
- Assist with deliveries and pickups
- Perform general labor and physical tasks as needed
- Perform warranty service and maintenance on windows and other products installed by our company, including troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs, and customer service.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Travel to customer/job sites when required
- Follow instructions, safety procedures, and company standards
- Complete service work accurately and professionally
- Communicate with customers and team members in a courteous manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable performing physical labor and lifting materials
- Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred but not required:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience
- Mechanical, maintenance, construction, or service technician experience
- Experience troubleshooting or repairing equipment
- Experience using power tools
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and working with tools and equipment. Candidates should be able to lift and move materials and equipment as required for the job.
