Warehouse Forklift Operator
Location: Spanaway, WA 98387
Pay Rate: $20.83 per hour
Schedule: Wednesday Saturday, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
Overview
The Warehouse Forklift Operator supports shipping, receiving, inventory replenishment, and order fulfillment. This role requires powered equipment experience, strong attention to inventory accuracy, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process inbound and outbound freight.
- Verify merchandise to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Replenish products in warehouse and sales-floor areas.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Use inventory management systems according to established procedures.
- Operate forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load cardboard into a baler and operate compression controls.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or related experience.
- Current powered equipment certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Forklift or powered pallet jack experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and dependability.
- High school diploma or GED.
Dress Code & Safety Requirements
- Steel-toe boots are required.
- Bottoms must be made of denim or woven material.
- Shorts must be knee-length or longer.
- Shirts must be work-appropriate and cannot be sleeveless or low-cut.
- Pajama bottoms, yoga pants, spandex, sweatpants, and basketball shorts are not permitted.
- Clothing cannot display inappropriate or unprofessional logos or wording.
