Warehouse Forklift Operator

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for using a forklift to load and unload materials, move items around the facility, and supply materials to production machines. This includes following the production schedule, stacking and organizing goods, and checking that loads are secure. The role also involves doing daily equipment checks, using an RF scanner, and helping keep the work area clean and safe. A forklift certification and attention to safety are required.

Responsibilities:

·         Good math, language, and reading skills

·         Basic computer skills may be required

·         High degree of attention required to prevent injury and promote a safe work environment

·         Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records

·         Complete assignments accurately, safely, and on time

·         Maintain a clean and safe work environment

·         May be required to use an RF scanner gun

·         Clean driving record and valid state driver’s license may be required

·         Forklift certification per OSHA standards

Northeast:

• 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm
• 3rd shift 10:30pm-7am
