Position: Warehouse Supervisor / Working Lead
City: San Fernando, CA
Salary: $73,000$75,000 annually
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM5:00 PM - M-F
Type: Full-Time - Direct Hire
Job Summary:The Warehouse Supervisor / Working Lead will oversee warehouse employees while remaining actively involved in daily operations. This person will help organize workflow, assign general duties and special projects, operate a forklift, assist with loading and material movement, and ensure the team works safely and efficiently.
This is not a desk-only supervisor position. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading from the floor and working alongside the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and work alongside warehouse employees.
- Assign daily warehouse duties and special projects.
- Coordinate workflow and help keep the team productive and on schedule.
- Perform hands-on loading, unloading, and material handling as needed.
- Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Train, coach, and provide direction to warehouse employees.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
- Monitor productivity, safety, and quality standards.
- Communicate priorities and operational needs with management.
- Complete basic reporting and documentation as needed.
- Step in wherever needed to keep warehouse operations moving.
Job Qualifications:- Previous Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Lead, or Team Lead experience required.
- Strong hands-on warehouse experience.
- Forklift certification and operating experience required.
- Experience supervising and directing warehouse employees.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage daily priorities and special projects.
- Comfortable performing physical warehouse duties alongside the team.
- Safety-focused and able to lead by example.
- Dependable with a strong attendance and work history.
