Warehouse/Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and safely delivering finished millwork products, including cabinetry, booth seating and related materials, to customer job sites. This role also includes assisting with basic installation tasks on select deliveries. The position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks with cabinetry, booth work, and related materials
Prepare and stage materials for delivery and job site pickup
Safely transport products to customer locations, primarily restaurant job sites
Assist on the loading dock to ensure jobs are properly organized, protected, and secured
Verify orders for accuracy before loading and delivery
Assist installers with basic installation tasks when required (e.g., moving, holding, positioning, or staging materials)
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers
Follow all company safety procedures, including warehouse, job site, and driving safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and vehicles
Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Other tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Previous warehouse, delivery, or construction experience preferred
Basic knowledge of hand tools and willingness to assist with installation tasks
Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts if applicable)
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials (50+ lbs. regularly)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods
Ability to assist with physical installation activities at job sites
Comfortable working in warehouse, delivery, and construction environments
Work Environment:
Warehouse, loading dock, delivery truck, and active job site environments
Frequent travel to job sites, including restaurant construction and renovation sites
Exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and construction conditions
Safety Requirements:
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Follow all driving laws and defensive driving practices Use proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when required
$21-$26 per hour depending on experience
