Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in West Tulsa. This position is responsible for assembling industrial burner system panels, skid-mounted equipment, and related mechanical components while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand tools, and enjoys hands-on assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous mechanical assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, or related experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour shifts MondaySaturday
Comfortable using hand tools including wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to follow assembly instructions, drawings, and production procedures
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn new assembly techniques and manufacturing processes
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components and hardware according to layout drawings and build instructions
Bolt piping and mechanical components onto skid-mounted assemblies
Mount brackets, structural components, and related hardware
Perform mechanical fit-up, alignment, and adjustments during assembly
Follow assembly drawings and basic layout diagrams (training provided as needed)
Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper fit
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support team leaders in meeting production schedules and project deadlines
Perform additional assembly and production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Experience assembling industrial equipment or skid-mounted systems
Mechanical aptitude and experience working with fabrication or manufacturing equipment
Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly prints
Experience working in industrial manufacturing or fabrication environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely use hand and power tools while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and assembly facility

Exposure to hand tools, power tools, industrial equipment, and skid-mounted assemblies
