Warehouse Clerk
Overview:
The Warehouse Clerk provides vital administrative support to the logistics team and coordinates shipping and receiving activities within the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, verifying physical inventory, working with truck drivers, and acting as a liaison between local and corporate supply chain efforts. The Warehouse Clerk reports to the onsite Warehouse Team Leader.

Work Schedule:
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM.
  • Schedule options: Monday–Friday, Sunday–Thursday, or Tuesday–Saturday.
  • Work may extend to 7 days a week depending on workload and staffing needs.
Pay Rate: $28.00 an hour
Location: Oakdale, CA

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check in truck drivers, assign dock lanes, and verify seal integrity.
  • Complete shipping and receiving paperwork, including Bills of Lading.
  • Process receipts in SAP against purchase orders.
  • Assist in managing the dock schedule.
  • Greet and check in visitors or vendors.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including maintaining complex spreadsheets and updating SAP.
  • Prepare and ship sample orders.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate forklifts to safely move, pick up, and stack pallets.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Monitor inventory and recommend actions regarding non-usable, slow-moving, or excess stock.
  • Operate pallet jacks and electric pallet wrappers.
  • Accurately label finished goods.
  • Verify inventory counts for both raw materials and finished products.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using SAP or other enterprise software systems.
  • Proficient in operating typical office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to interpret work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Ability to analyze internal reports and supporting documents.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing, walking, using hands, handling objects/tools, reaching, stopping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and, with reasonable accommodation, tasting or smelling.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, back, and legs for loading and unloading.
