Description
Responsibilities:
Assist with locating materials, equipment, and supplies in both surface and underground warehouses.
Maintain accurate records of goods requested and received.
Receive, inventory, and stock deliveries of materials, equipment, and supplies for surface and underground warehouses.
Communicate with personnel regarding the distribution of materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
Analyze needs and product requirements.
Maintain computerized warehouse records.
Obtain and ensure appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials necessary for task completion.
Conduct inventory cycle counts as directed by the warehouse leader.
Operate tractors and forklifts to transport supplies.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. from the ground to shelves (up to 4 feet high).
Select, check, maintain, and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform initial safety checks of the workplace and equipment and follow safety protocols throughout the shift.
Prepare the worksite safely and efficiently before work begins.
Immediately report any unsafe conditions or actions to supervision and rectify or isolate them if possible.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Technical Competencies:
