Overview
We are hiring a
Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling. This position will initially be a short-term assignment with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
The ideal candidate has recent warehouse experience, strong forklift skills, and the ability to work efficiently while following instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize materials
- Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory and materials
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Wrap and band materials to prepare shipments for delivery
- Assist team members with warehouse operations as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory organization and material flow
- Perform general warehouse housekeeping and maintain a clean work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
- Minimum of 1 year of recent and consistent warehouse experience in shipping and receiving
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Experience operating material handling equipment safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lifts or equipment used for heavier items)
- Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand throughout the entire shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
- Experience with inventory control and material handling operations
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
