Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tool Room Attendant / Warehouse Counter Associate to support inventory control, material distribution, and internal customer service operations. This position functions similarly to a parts counter role, assisting internal customers with locating, preparing, and distributing tools, parts, and inventory items while maintaining an organized and efficient storeroom environment.

This is a hands-on warehouse position with no forklift operation required. Candidates who demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, and a willingness to learn may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare requested items for pickup and internal distribution
• Assist internal customers at the service counter
• Verify incoming inventory and stock materials in appropriate locations
• Read and follow work orders accurately
• Maintain inventory organization and accurate storage locations
• Support inventory control, stocking, and material tracking activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment
• Perform general warehouse and inventory support duties as assigned
• Work independently while supporting operations across multiple locations when necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of recent, stable work experience
• No unexplained employment gaps greater than 3 months
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance record
• Ability to learn product and inventory information quickly
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal transportation
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, stockroom, inventory, or storeroom experience
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Experience working with parts, tools, maintenance inventory, or supply room operations
• Experience supporting internal customers in a service counter environment
• Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and organization
