Warehouse Associate

Location: West Monroe, LA 71292
Pay Rate: $17.50 $18.00/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Duration: 2+ Month Contract

Summary

The Warehouse & Customer Service Associate supports daily branch and warehouse operations through a combination of inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and customer service.

This role is responsible for receiving and organizing freight, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory, and assisting customers with identifying products and solutions that meet their needs. The position works closely with customers, branch employees, and internal business partners to help ensure efficient daily operations and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, process, and organize incoming freight.

• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup.

• Stock and organize warehouse products and materials.

• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with inventory control activities.

• Assist customers with identifying appropriate products and solutions based on their needs.

• Provide professional and consistent customer service across multiple service channels.

• Process customer requests and help resolve routine order or product-related issues.

• Identify customer needs that may create additional sales opportunities.

• Work closely with the Branch Operations Manager and branch team to support daily operations.

• Coordinate with internal business partners as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and work area.

• Follow established company procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Work Environment

• Hands-on warehouse and customer service position.
