Warehouse Associate (Temp to hire)

Position Overview

Looking for a steady, competitive daytime warehouse role with weekends off? Join our team in Katy as a Warehouse Associate! Offering $17.00/hour pay, predictable daytime hours, and a direct path to permanent employment, this position is ideal for an energetic warehouse professional ready to operate equipment, pack orders, and contribute to a top-tier supply chain team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (No Weekends)

What You'll Do

• Accurately pull inventory items using order manifests, pack products securely, and stage materials for daily shipments.
• Drive forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks safely to transport, lift, and store products throughout the warehouse.
• Wrap pallets tightly, build balanced loads, and assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks at the loading dock.
• Keep work aisles clean, sweep floor areas, clear trash/debris, and follow all facility 5S safety protocols.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, cherry picker) and order picking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and push/pull materials continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Must supply your own steel-toe safety boots before starting.
• High reliability, strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy, and a proactive, safety-first mindset.

Workplace: This is a 100% onsite role located inside an active commercial electrical distribution center. The role involves continuous physical movement, equipment operation, pallet wrapping, and active dock work.

Contract Terms: This is a temporary/contract engagement focused on immediate operational support; standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided during the initial contract duration.
