Description

 The warehouse associate will be responsible for performing various tasks within our warehouse facility, including inventory management, receiving shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and meeting our customers' needs for product delivery.

•                     Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials

•                     Inspect deliveries for accuracy and completeness

•                     Verify quantities and quality of items received and record

•                     Organize and store received items in designated warehouse locations

•                     Assist with inventory control activities

•                     Maintain accurate records of inventory levels

•                     Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to supervisor

•                     Identify and report discrepancies or damages in inventory

•                     Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.

•                     Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.

•                     Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment and equipment

•                     Schedule downtime effectively for preventative maintenance tasks, such as servicing and inspecting forklifts and other warehouse equipment, to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency

•                     Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

 

Qualifications:

•                     Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment

•                     Familiarity with inventory management systems, procedures, and software

•                     Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and     effectively – minimum one-year direct experience or training and experience combined.

•                     Strong attention to detail and accuracy

•                     Good communication and interpersonal skills

•                     Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•                     Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks

 

Requirements:

•                     High school diploma or GED

•                     Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis

•                     Must be able to stand on your feet for up to 10 hours

•                     Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are small
