    We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing warehouse team. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
    • Accurately stock HVAC equipment, parts, and materials in designated warehouse locations.
    • Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick tickets while ensuring order accuracy.
    • Pack and prepare orders for local delivery or shipment.
    • Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
    • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
    • Assist with replenishing stock and organizing warehouse locations.
    • Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies.
    • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
    • Assist delivery drivers with loading routes as needed.
    • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, customer service representatives, and branch personnel to meet daily operational goals.


    Qualifications

    • Previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
    • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building supply distribution is a plus.
    • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
    • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
    • Basic computer and inventory management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    Preferred Skills

    • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
    • Knowledge of HVAC products and equipment.
    • Shipping and receiving experience.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Commitment to workplace safety and customer service.


    Physical Requirements

    • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
    • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
    • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
