Description

Position OverviewUriah Products is seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.This position plays an important role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. The Warehouse Associate will also assist with receiving incoming inventory, organizing product, maintaining accurate inventory locations, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized.The ideal candidate is reliable, works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPick customer orders accurately using order documentation and warehouse locations.Pack products securely and prepare orders for shipment.Verify part numbers, quantities, and product condition before orders are shipped.Receive incoming shipments and verify products against receiving documentation.Inspect incoming product for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies.Label, organize, and place inventory into assigned warehouse locations.Assist with loading and unloading trucks and deliveries.Prepare pallets and packages for outbound shipments.Move inventory throughout the warehouse using appropriate material-handling equipment.Maintain accurate inventory and bin locations.Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts.Report inventory discrepancies, damaged product, or shipping issues to management.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.Assist with returns, repackaging, product preparation, and other warehouse functions as needed.Work closely with shipping, receiving, customer service, order entry, and management to resolve order or inventory issues.Assist with additional warehouse and operational projects as assigned.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.Strong attention to detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Comfortable performing physical warehouse work throughout the workday.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move products as required by the position.Willingness to learn warehouse procedures, products, and inventory systems.PreferredPrevious warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, shipping, or receiving experience.Experience picking and packing customer orders.Experience with inventory management or warehouse-management systems.Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment.Experience working with shipping carriers and preparing outbound shipments.Familiarity with barcode scanners or warehouse inventory systems.What Makes Someone Successful in This RoleThe strongest Warehouse Associates do more than move boxes.
