Warehouse Associate/Special Delivery Driver

POSITION TITLE: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE/SPECIAL DELIVERY DRIVER 

PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to participate in our warehouse and fleet operations and activities.   

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse 1/Fleet

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager/Fleet Manager 

HOURS/SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Start 3:00am-7:00am     Saturday Start 3:00am-7:00am 

PAYRATE: $18.00-$20.00 an hour 

DRESS CODE: Steel toe boots, Cloth Gloves (optional),  

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Operate riding electric pallet jack, stand up and sit-down forklift 

Pick customer orders for delivery or pick up 

Receive, count, and inspect incoming shipments according to purchase order 

Stock and organize products in appropriate locations 

Perform minor fixes such as repairing light fixtures, broken product, etc 

Gardening/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash, shoveling snow, etc 

Build and breakdown of equipment, such as racks, shelves, etc 

Make special deliveries to customers as needed 

Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer  

Unload goods as per company’s specifications  

Provide exceptional customer service  

Other suitable duties as requested by manager(s) 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  

High School Diploma 

Valid driver’s license 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  

Read basic Spanish words (preferred) 

Ability to operate electric/manual pallet jack 

Ability to operate forklift  

Work in fast paced environment  

Detail oriented 

Clean driving record 

Available on-call, and on weekends 

Able to travel out of state 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

Ability to lift more than 50 lbs frequently 

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time 

Work in extreme temperature 

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time as well as crouch, step, and kneel
