Warehouse Associate/Simpsonville, SC
Summary/objective
The Warehouse Associate (WA) will be responsible for assisting in any area of the warehouse the Production Manager may need.
Hours: 8:30am 5pm (M-F)
Pay: $18/$20 (Depends on Experience)
Essential functions
Learn all functions of shipping department
Learn all functions of the receiving department
Physically check receiving documents against actual counts
Put inventory away
New inbound stock
Refill primary locations from over stock
Perform cycle counts daily
Stage material for cutters
Keep all work areas clean
Preventative maintenance (All training and tools will be provided)
Assist in special projects as needed

2 years work experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Requirements

Must be able to read, write and understand English
Must have reliable transportation
Should possess a combination of technical aptitude as well as great interpersonal relationships skills

Must be able to take instruction
Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to perform basic math
Must be able to use hand tools
Must be able to use a tape measure
Must be able to lift 50lbs
This is a position that encompasses multiple shipping/receiving responsibilities, including booking shipments. The pay range for this position is $18-20 (higher than our typical base rate as we are looking for someone with experience).
