Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Surprise, Arizona
Company: Interstate Assembly Systems
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
We are looking for an independent and driven individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate and Shipping & Receiving Clerk. We build IMT and Fuel/Lube Mechanic Trucks, and we would like to have you on our team!
Essential Duties:
- Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Verify parts, quantities, and paperwork before materials are received or shipped.
- Inspect incoming shipments for obvious damage or discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
- Enter and retrieve information using shipping, inventory, and other computer systems.
- Use carrier software and other shipping programs as required.
- Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, and move materials.
- Organize incoming and outgoing materials so parts can be easily identified and located.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to keep materials moving.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies before shipments leave the facility.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, vendors, customers, and visitors.
- Prioritize multiple shipments, deliveries, and production requests throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Shipping/Receiving area.
- Follow established safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Lean Methodologies preferred.
- Previous Shipping/Receiving, inventory, warehouse, or related experience.
- Experienced with all material handling equipment such as forklifts & Reach lifts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to lift 25-50lbs routinely.
- Occasionally lift over 50lbs.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday - Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
