Emerging Power Inc is currently looking for a full-time shipping clerk to work at our Hackensack, NJ facility.
Job Requirements
Must possess High School diploma or equivalent
Forklift certified a plus (90 days to get forklift certified if not)
Ability to interpret/fill out packing slips and bill of ladings
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Basic computer skills (i.e. ability to utilize company spreadsheets and programs)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of time, organization, and urgency
Able to work independently or within a team
Registered for Hazmat shipping with UPS/FedEx a plus
Job Responsibilities
Pulling, packing, loading orders
Scheduling shipments on a daily basis with various trucking companies, UPS, and FedEx
Tracks, traces, and updates status of outgoing shipments

Scanning and sorting outgoing product
Ensure all shipments receive proper labeling
Provides additional back-up support for shipping/receiving manager
Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
