Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $23.00 $23.12/hour
Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate will follow established procedures to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming goods, inspect for damage, and identify discrepancies between goods and invoices.

• Pick, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests.

• Ensure proper routing of materials while transporting them between departments.

• Enter data into databases or computerized systems to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Retrieve inventory information to respond to inquiries regarding stock transfers, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.

• Perform routine clerical activities according to established procedures.

• Update stock cards and inventory records and complete receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.

• Support receiving dock operations, order picking, packing, and dock processing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of previous work experience.

• Forklift experience is required.

• ERP system experience is highly preferred, specifically JD Edwards.

• SAP experience is a plus.

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred.
