About the Role:
This position involves performing physical and clerical warehouse duties including receiving, storing, picking, checking, and shipping materials. The Warehouse Associate will work in a fast-paced environment supporting accurate inventory flow, order fulfillment, and safe material handling using powered industrial equipment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Load, unload, and move materials safely using manual handling or powered industrial equipment (30%)
- Count, check, prepare, and record incoming and outgoing shipments (30%)
- Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage (25%)
- Complete paperwork, documentation, data entry, maintenance, and housekeeping duties (10%)
- Follow all company policies including safety, ethics, and workplace conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned (5%)
This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period, but these may become available upon conversion to a permanent role.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have previous warehouse or receiving experience
- Experience with powered industrial equipment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Strong mechanical aptitude, math, and reading skills
- Ability to operate warehouse systems (WMS preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment involving lifting, bending, and twisting
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and teamwork
Work Environment:
- Operation of powered industrial equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, Moffett forklifts, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies
- Use of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Physically demanding work involving lifting, bending, twisting, and moving materials throughout the shift
