Warehouse Associate (Record Center Specialist)

Position Overview

Looking for a steady, active 1st-shift role with an industry leader in information management? Join our team in Sunrise as a Warehouse Associate - Record Center Specialist. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 5 days a week, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

What You'll Do Daily

• Process and track orders by locating, scanning, and logging storage boxes, binders, files, and backup tapes using handheld RF scanners and proprietary tracking systems.
• Manually lift, move, and arrange inventory boxes and totes weighing from 24 lbs up to 100+ lbs across concrete surfaces and changing elevations.
• Operate material handling equipment including hand carts, pallet jacks, and trucks to safely transport materials throughout the facility.
• Prepare and stage shipments by building, loading, and shrink-wrapping pallets at ground level and loading trucks for outbound delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull containers up to 100 lbs without assistance on a regular, prolonged basis.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, and climbing ladders or stairs throughout your shift.
• Must possess protective safety footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best."
• Fluent in reading/writing English to follow labels, read orders, and navigate computer tracking software.

Work Environment: You will work in an active, physical warehouse setting. The environment involves working on concrete floors, using material handling aids, climbing secure ladders, and navigating varying floor elevations safely.

Employment Note: This is a temporary/contract assignment for operational support; corporate benefits and PTO are not included during the contract period.
