Warehouse Associate / Record Center Specialist (1st Shift)

Position Overview

Looking for a steady, full-time warehouse role with an industry leader in electrical distribution? Join our team in Gainesville as a Warehouse Associate! Offering competitive bi-weekly pay, consistent daytime hours, and the opportunity to convert into a permanent role, this position is perfect for a dependable warehouse professional with strong equipment operating skills ready to hit the ground running.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 days a week, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

What You'll Do

• Use handheld RF scanners and internal computer software to locate, retrieve, log, and track boxes of files, binders, backup tapes, and archive materials.
• Manually lift, move, and stack storage containers, totes, and boxes ranging from 24 lbs to 100+ lbs across concrete surfaces, ramps, and stairways.
• Safely operate hand carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to transfer materials; build, shrink-wrap, and stage pallets for outgoing trucks.
• Verify labels, read order manifests, and ensure inbound and outbound shipments meet strict quality and organizational standards.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull containers up to 100 lbs without assistance on a regular, prolonged basis in a non-climate-controlled, dusty environment.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and balancing on ladders throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Must possess ASTM F2413-11 compliant safety-toe footwear with slip-resistant soles ("Better" or "Best" rated).
• Fluent in reading and writing English to follow labels, process orders, and navigate handheld scanning devices.

Workplace: This is a 100% onsite role located in a fast-paced commercial distribution center. The role requires continuous physical activity, including lifting, scanning, freight handling, and machinery operation.

Contract Terms: This is a temporary/contract engagement focused on immediate operational support; standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided during the initial contract duration.
