    General Summary of Position
    The Warehouse Associate will primarily be responsible for maintaining organized and efficient inventory storage.  Handle incoming and outgoing shipments for the warehouse; store and distribute materials within the warehouse, assist coworkers with handling inventory and operate warehouse equipment.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
     
    • Pack items appropriately to avoid damage, including building/stacking pallets.
    • Verify outgoing shipment to ensure correct shipment of orders.
    • Operate forklift, pallet jack or hand truck to move items.
    • Maintain equipment is in good working order.
    • Label and store incoming material.
    • Maintain clean and organized inventory shelves and racks.
    • Assist machine operators with handling raw material.
    • Basic housekeeping of discarding packing materials and pallets.

    • Must have strong attention to detail and organization.
    • Detail-oriented including experience with both manual and electronic recordkeeping systems.
    • Able to communicate, write and read English.
    • Ability to take and follow directions.
    • Basic math and reading skills required.
    • Previous forklift certification preferred.
