Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate for a busy warehouse operation in Owasso. This position supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and material-handling operations while helping maintain a safe and organized facility.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, demonstrates leadership qualities, and stays productive without constant supervision. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, and forklift experience is beneficial, although current forklift certification is not required.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience beneficial, but certification is not required
• Ability to safely use pallet jacks, ladders, scanners, and warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Willingness to take direction and assist team members when needed
• Strong initiative and ability to identify tasks that need to be completed
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Steel-toe shoes required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Inspect received products for accuracy and visible damage
• Stock materials and products in designated warehouse locations
• Pick customer orders accurately according to order requirements
• Pack and prepare completed orders for shipment
• Stage outbound freight for loading and transportation
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory-control activities
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Assist team members with warehouse responsibilities as needed
• Maintain productivity throughout the workday
• Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned

Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities

• Receive incoming products and materials
• Verify shipments against applicable documentation
• Inspect products for damage or discrepancies
• Organize and stock received inventory
• Pick and prepare outgoing customer orders
• Package products appropriately for shipment
• Stage outbound freight
• Assist with truck loading and unloading
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas

Inventory Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product and material locations
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Help reconcile physical inventory against warehouse records
• Identify missing, damaged, or incorrectly stocked products
• Maintain organized storage areas for efficient order fulfillment
• Assist with inventory movement and general warehouse organization

Warehouse Equipment

Depending on experience and assigned responsibilities, associates may work with:

• Forklifts
• Pallet jacks
• Warehouse scanners
• Ladders
• Carts and material-handling equipment
• Shipping and receiving equipment

Forklift experience is beneficial, but current certification is not required.

• Previous experience using warehouse scanners
• Demonstrated leadership experience or leadership potential

Screening Requirements

Candidates must meet the following pre-employment requirements:

• 5-panel drug screen required
• THC is not accepted, including medical marijuana card holders
• 7-year background check required
• No felony convictions accepted

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, move, carry, push, and pull warehouse materials as required
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and material handling
• Ability to safely use ladders and warehouse equipment
• Ability to safely enter and exit forklifts when trained and authorized
• Comfortable performing physically active warehouse work throughout the day
• Steel-toe footwear required

Work Environment

• Busy warehouse and distribution environment
