Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and shipping operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have solid warehouse experience and a background working with or around diesel engines, engine components, or heavy equipment.

This position will be responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, pulling, packing, and shipping materials while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Responsibilities

Receive incoming materials and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.
Pull, pick, sort, label, pack, and stage materials for shipment.
Perform warehouse system transactions accurately.
Store materials efficiently and maintain organized inventory locations.
Operate manual and automated warehouse equipment as required.
Verify materials against invoices, orders, and shipping documentation.
Identify and control damaged or non-conforming materials.
Support daily shipping and receiving activities.
Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory records.
Follow established work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Perform routine housekeeping and basic operator care/maintenance tasks.
Work closely with warehouse personnel, skilled trades, and support teams.
Report safety hazards, incidents, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing environment.
Experience working with diesel engines, engine components, heavy equipment, or similar products strongly preferred.
Ability to safely handle, move, sort, and organize materials.
Strong attention to detail when checking shipments and documentation.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong initiative and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Ability to follow safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
Basic computer/system transaction skills.
