Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Alternative Schedule: Some flexibility for 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Monday–Friday Warehouse Opportunity – $19/hr!

We are hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator in Chesterfield, VA for a hands-on warehouse and distribution position. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid warehouse experience who enjoys staying active, operating forklifts, and working as part of a dependable team.

This is a physical position, with approximately 75% of the day spent on your feet. You'll be pulling orders, stocking materials, operating powered industrial equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

For the right candidate, this position has the potential to become permanent.

What You'll Be Doing

• Pull and prepare outbound orders for shipment

• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials

• Put away loose fittings, bags, boxes, and other warehouse materials

• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers

• Operate an order picker at heights of up to 20 feet

• Read and follow work orders accurately

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs

• Perform frequent bending, twisting, pulling, lifting, and standing

• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure warehouse

• Assist in different warehouse areas based on daily business needs

What We're Looking For

Required:

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience

• At least 1 year of sit-down and stand-up forklift/order picker experience

• Comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet on an order picker

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable being on your feet for approximately 75% of the shift

• Ability to read and understand work orders

• High School Diploma or GED

• Dependable attendance and consistent work history

• Ability to successfully complete a forklift assessment

Experience with wholesale distribution, building materials, plumbing supply, Lowe's, Home Depot, or similar warehouse operations is a plus.

Work Environment

Please note: This warehouse is not climate controlled and can become hot during the summer months.

Pay: $19.00/hour

Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch

PPE & Dress Code

• Steel-toe shoes or boots are required

• Casual but appropriate warehouse attire

• No clothing with rips, tears, or holes

• Jewelry and facial piercings/jewelry cannot be worn while working
