Overview
We are seeking a dependable
Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer support. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift, unloading trucks, preparing orders for delivery, and assisting at the service counter when needed.
The ideal candidate is flexible, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials
- Unload trucks and process incoming shipments
- Prepare and stage orders for customer delivery and pickup
- Ship LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move and organize inventory
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives
- Assist customers at the counter as needed
- Support multiple areas of warehouse operations based on business needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of recent, consistent warehouse experience
- 6 months to 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience
- Comfortable working at heights up to 15 feet
- Stable work history with no employment gaps greater than 3 months unless clearly explained
- Forklift operating experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand throughout the entire shift
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexible and willing to support different warehouse functions as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Order picker experience (training may be provided)
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, delivery support, or warehouse operations
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory management
