Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate. We are looking for someone with a forklift certification who is comfortable handling materials, fulfilling orders, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Reach truck and order picker experience is a plus!
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM4:00 PM
Assignment Length: 1 month (not temp-to-hire)
Overtime: Potential weekend overtime
Job Responsibilities
- Pull, prepare, and fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials safely.
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Organize and distribute materials and supplies as requested.
- Operate pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and instructions.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Valid forklift certification required.
- Reach truck and order picker experience helpful but not required.
- Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 24 feet when operating an order picker.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse in varying temperatures.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and reliable attendance.
- Must have steel-toe boots.
- Dress code: Pants or shorts with belt loops and a T-shirt or polo.
