Overview
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires experience operating both a sit-down forklift and cherry picker, working at heights up to 26 feet, and providing excellent customer service for will-call and customer pickup activities.
This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse operations, inventory handling, and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Pull, pick, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials
- Load and unload LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments
- Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers safely and efficiently
- Work at heights up to 26 feet while retrieving and storing inventory
- Prepare and stage materials for customer pickup and delivery
- Assist customers with will-call orders and product pickups
- Utilize warehouse and inventory management systems to process orders and inventory transactions
- Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
- Perform basic data entry and inventory-related tasks
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Required Qualifications
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Cherry picker experience with the ability to work at heights up to 26 feet
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
- Ability to team lift materials weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Experience unloading LTL shipments
- Experience supporting customer pickup and will-call operations
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse inventory and processes
- Experience using warehouse management or inventory systems
