Overview
We are hiring a
Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and material handling. This role requires experience operating a sit-down forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and preparing materials for customer deliveries and project needs.
This is a full-time temporary opportunity for dependable candidates who have recent warehouse experience, strong attendance, and the ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize materials
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming inventory
- Prepare and stage materials for customer deliveries and project requirements
- Read and follow work orders to ensure order accuracy
- Maintain inventory organization and material flow throughout the warehouse
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse experience
- Minimum of 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience
- Stable work history with no employment gaps greater than 3 months
- Ability to read and understand work orders
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and pull for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
- Experience working in distribution, industrial, or material handling environments
