Kirby Risk is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lebanon, IN!
In this role, you'll be the heart of our warehouse operations, helping ensure materials are received, stored, picked, and delivered accurately and efficiently. This is more than a warehouse job-it's an opportunity to play a vital role in helping our customers get the products they need, when they need them.
What You will Do as a Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for helping maintain accurate inventory, streamline workflows, and deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring customer orders are handled safely, efficiently, and with precision.You will:
Receive and unload incoming shipments, verify quantities and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies that need to be reported to managementAccurately enter receiving information into the warehouse management systemProcess returns and assist with freight claims as neededPerform inventory counts and cycle counts in accordance with company policy to maintain inventory integrityPick, stage, and prepare materials for customer orders and branch transfersMove materials to designated warehouse locations using established processesOperate with a safety first/operational efficiency mindset to guarantee the warehouse is well maintained, shelves are stocked, organized and products are displayed properlyAssist with continuous improvement efforts to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction
What makes you a Great Fit:
High school diploma/GEDPrevious warehouse experience preferredAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbsComfortable working at heights and climbing ladders up to 15 feetAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop and perform physical work throughout the dayExperience operating a multi-directional forklift and/or handling, loading, and unloading 20ft bundles of pipe is a plusExperience using Warehouse Management Software is preferred and Auto Desk Construction Cloud is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
