The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for sorting and selecting products to fulfill customer orders.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Review customer orders to determine items to be selected
Assemble customer orders from stock, verify accuracy of products selected and packages for shipment
Compare identifying information and count items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against orders or other records
Assemble shipping boxes, maintain warehouse supplies and inventory levels
Assist other departments as needed, including but not limited to, Receiving, Stocking, Replenishment, Shipping, Verifying and Returns
May serve as backup to Material Handler
Assist in ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organized
Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
Additional duties as needed
Position Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in a fast paced warehouse environment
Clear communication skills required
Able to stand on feet the entire working day
Able to bend, crouch and reach as needed
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
Flexible with schedule; ability to work overtime due to business needs
Ability to operate all electric material handling equipment (including but not limited to Standing Electric Forklift, Hi-Lo Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Pallet Jack, Dock Machine, etc., a plus)
