Overview
We are hiring a
Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support warehouse and yard operations, including order fulfillment, material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and truck loading activities. This is a physically active role that involves working both outdoors and in a warehouse environment while operating a sit-down forklift and handling materials safely and efficiently.
This is a
full-time temp-to-perm opportunity for dependable individuals who take pride in their work, follow instructions, and maintain a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Assist with loading trucks and securing materials for transportation
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse and yard
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials
- Load and unload products while following safety procedures
- Perform manual material handling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain inventory organization and material flow
- Ensure the warehouse and yard areas remain clean, organized, secure, and safe
- Follow all company safety policies, including restrictions on personal cell phone use during work hours
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent warehouse experience
- Minimum of 2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to work safely in both warehouse and outdoor yard environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Dependable work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and stay focused on assigned tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory management
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn products and warehouse processes
- Experience with material handling, truck loading, and inventory control
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to operational excellence
