Description

This role supports inventory accuracy, product traceability, and operational excellence activities within the Distribution Center. This role assists with inventory investigations, serialization and DSCSA-related activities, inventory data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and day-to-day operational support. The position supports serialized product traceability, discrepancy investigations, and documentation activities to help ensure regulatory compliance and inventory accuracy. The position works closely with Operations, Quality, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the efficient flow of materials while maintaining compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Please note this is a 2nd shift position with the hours of 10:00am - 6:30pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies involving receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, shipping, and returns.
  • Support cycle count activities, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation efforts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with DSCSA, serialization, and product traceability activities, including the investigation and resolution of serialization exceptions, system discrepancies, and inventory-related compliance issues.
  • Assist with the verification of inventory and product traceability data and documentation to support regulatory requirements, internal audits, customer audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation associated with inventory investigations and compliance activities.
  • Support customer service, operations, and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory, traceability, and customer-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Generate, analyze, and maintain inventory and operational performance metrics, utilizing system reports and inventory data to identify trends, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence projects, and special projects within the Distribution Center.
  • Provide operational floor support as needed, including inventory verification, location audits, and distribution-related activities.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP, GDP, DSCSA, Glenmark SOPs, and all applicable safety and quality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Distribution Center operations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Degree preferred High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 0-3 years of experience in distribution operations, inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or related environments. Internship, co-op, military, or college project experience may be considered.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated environment preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with Manhattan WMS or similar warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and distribution operations.
  • Exposure to or willingness to learn pharmaceutical compliance requirements, including cGMP, GDP, and product traceability processes preferred.
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn serialization, DSCSA product traceability requirements, and exception management processes.
  • Experience using SAP or other enterprise inventory management systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management; experience with Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to support operational activities in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Physical Demands and Abilities

  • The incumbent typically works in a warehouse environment and the noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an warehouse.
  • Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
  • The incumbent is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 40 pounds

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range - $47,840 - $52,000 USD

The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits. An individual's final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.
