Warehouse Associate IDepartment: OperationsReports To: Warehouse SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: On-SitePosition SummaryThe Warehouse Associate I is an entry-level warehouse position responsible for accurately receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role works under close supervision and is expected to follow established procedures while learning warehouse operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.Label, palletize, and stage products for shipping.Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy.Maintain inventory accuracy by properly scanning and documenting product movement.Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Assist with cycle counts and inventory activities as assigned.Communicate inventory discrepancies or damaged product to a supervisor.Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPrevious warehouse experience preferred but not required.Basic computer and scanner experience preferred.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail.Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.Physical RequirementsFrequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Stand and walk for extended periods.Bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and climb as needed.Work in varying warehouse temperatures.Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experienceHealth, vision, and dental benefits401(k) with 4% company matchPaid vacation timePaid holidays and sick leaveShips-A-Lot is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
