Warehouse Associate I – 2nd Shift

Location: Ontario, CA 91761
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential = $21.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4:30 PM–1:00 AM
Employment Type: Right-to-Hire


Overview

The Warehouse Associate I supports daily distribution center operations, including picking, packing, staging, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material handling. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple warehouse functions while maintaining accuracy, safety, and product quality.


Responsibilities

  • Pick, stage, move, and put away inventory using reach trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load outbound freight according to customer requirements to help ensure accurate, damage-free shipments.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments, UPS parcels, and returned goods.
  • Prepare shipping, receiving, and routing documentation.
  • Rotate between warehouse areas including small parcel, UPS, dock, shipping, and receiving.
  • Use inventory software and warehouse tools to complete daily order fulfillment activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and company safety standards.
  • Participate in safety meetings and daily team operations.
  • Adjust to changing priorities, workload demands, and required overtime.


Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift and/or reach truck experience preferred.
  • Current material handling equipment certification preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, including Blue Yonder/JDA, preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow basic written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 10–50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours and perform repetitive bending and twisting.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime as operational needs require.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.


Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
