Job Description:As a warehouse associate, you'll gather and organize equipment needed to fulfill scaffolding orders. This individual will also unload trucks that come back from job sites, then inspect and repair each piece of equipment carefully. This position is critical for giving accurate counts to complete orders, checking for damaged equipment, and making repairs to scaffolding equipment up to OSHA and our companies standards. Responsibilities & Duties: Safely operate a forklift to complete assigned tasks, including loading, unloading, moving, pulling orders, and transporting products or equipment.Carpenter skills (PREFERRED)Safely secure loads by banding, wrapping, and/or taping as needed. Inspect returned equipment for utility, cleanliness, and safety.Perform repairs on equipment as necessary to return it to service.Assist drivers with deliveries and pick=ups as directed by the supervisor. Perform other miscellaneous assignments as directed by the supervisor. Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service skills.Positive attitude and ability to work as a team.The ability to safely handle up to 70 lbsKnowledge & Skills Needed:Diligent attention and knowledge of safety. Ability to manage time efficiently and productively. Good oral and written communication skills in the English language. Basic hand tool knowledge.Must be self-motivated with a desire to grow within the company.
