The Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing daily, assigned warehouse tasks in a safe and efficient manner.We offer:* Health benefits.* Paid time off and holidaypay.* Wellness program.* Professional development & career advancement opportunities.* Lots of perks.Compensation Information:$18,50/hourResponsibilities:* Daily warehouse work activities, including (but not limited to):* Daily pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities.* Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy.* Cycle counts.* Picking/cutting/staging goods as needed.* Daily building cleanup and maintenance.* Regular warehouse audits to ensure safety and cleanliness of all parts of the warehouse.* Safely operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (requires certification).* Perform and document machinery safety checks.* Inventory counts.* Proper completion of payroll activities.* Successful and timely completion of all required training.Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent.* Previous warehouse experience preferred.* Forklift operating experience preferred.* Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.* Ability to lift or push 50-75lbs as required.* Commitment to customer service and maintaining an excellent attendance record.* Flexibility to work overtime as needed.Why Empire Today?We empower our employees to strive for their unique goals.
